The format was to be six races Saturday and four races on Sunday. The single sausage course was used the most with an occasional double sausage thrown in. Due to the wind velocity. There were four races on Saturday instead of six as the starting time was delayed until the wind dropped below 15.Randy Smith opened the series with four wins and Pax Davis followed with four seconds. This had the look of a runaway for Randy. Sunday brought some serious puffs in the high range and some serious shifts of up to 30 degrees. Millimeter founder Jim Taylor won race five with Smith second and Davis third.. Race six was won by Smith with Davis getting second and Aaron Lee was third. Race seven was won by Davis with Bob Harper second and Smith third. Things were happening as Lee won race eight followed by Davis withTaylor getting third. Lee repeated and won race nine followed by Taylor with Smith third. Davis won race ten followed by Smith with Liam O'Flaherty getting third. With the two throwouts and great sailing Smith won by two points over Davis. Many thanks to Commodore Charles Hodgins for conducting the races for the Millimeters as he has all season. The annual dinner was enjoyed by all Saturday night at the Encinal Yacht Club with the company of Commodore Hodgins and his wife Kathryn.
